Making real changes in your life isn't easy. It's scary. It's overwhelming. It's
incredibly stressful. And most of the time, you can't tell whether all of that effort is going to pay off. We
all get inspired to make changes in our lives from time to time, to improve something about ourselves or our lifestyle.
The problem is, most people don't have the necessary support systems in place to actually follow through on making
their dreams a reality.
Coaching gives you a structured process for integrating and maintaining lasting change in
your life. Coaching helps you overcome patterns of behavior that aren't working for you anymore, while implementing new
behaviors that better reflect who you really want to be. With coaching, you have a committed and consistent partner
to help you clarify your
deepest desires, evaluate your priorities, and take action to create the life you want right now.
With Sarah
as your Personal Development Coach, you will: Identify and focus on what
you actually want in life Challenge your thinking process so you can make more
conscious choices Brainstorm new ideas and get direction in times of confusion and
overwhelm Receive solid support as you make life-changing decisions Learn and apply new tools to improve your personal, professional and spiritual development Implement a structured process for creating meaningful goals and following through on them Receive acknowledgement and validation in times of self-doubt and fear Take real
action to create the life you've been waiting for now
How Does Coaching Work?
Almost every client I've worked with has started out wondering, "how does coaching work?"
As a result, I've designed a structured and simple system for helping you determine whether coaching is the best use of your
time, money and energy. Just follow these three easy
steps to decide whether coaching is for you: Step 1) The first step in
the coaching process is to submit your responses to our free online Coaching Quiz.
I will personally review your answers and contact you within 24 hours to set up a free 30-minute coaching
consultation. This first step in the coaching process allows us to make sure that your ultimate goals
fall within the scope of my practice and are appropriate for coaching (vs. therapy, consulting, mentoring, etc.) Step 2) The next step is to participate in your free 30-minute consultation
session, where you can ask questions about coaching in general and discuss in more detail your reasons for wanting a coach. Step
3) At this point, if you like what you've heard and want to continue with coaching, you can then select
a coaching package that fits your needs. Most coaching sessions are conducted over the telephone to ensure confidentiality
and to provide convenience (in-person coaching sessions are available for clients in the Park City area). If you are
interested in relationship coaching, you and your partner are encouraged to attend coaching calls together.
Teen coaching is conducted individually with the teen one-on-one, but requires parental consent
if the teen is under the age of eighteen.
Who Is an Ideal
Candidate for Coaching? If you have the following characteristics, you're an ideal candidate
for coaching: - you're committed to your personal growth
- you're open to new experiences and trying
new things
- you're tired of making excuses for settling in life
- you believe in your ability to overcome challenges
- you're willing to explore your beliefs about yourself and about life in general
- you've resolved to create
a better and more satisfying life for yourself
Your Role, as the Client: Share
your dreams and your vision for your life. Describe in detail your aspirations, accomplishments,
experiences, frustrations, and your ultimate goals. Focus
on what is truly a priority in your life. Clarify your values and needs, so you have a clear path to follow as
you make decisions and take action. Learn
new things about yourself and the way you interact with the world around you. Commit
to taking specific actions that will move you closer to your goal. The accountability that is integrated into
the coaching relationship will help keep you on track. Develop yourself, creating change from
the inside out. As you work towards specific goals, you may find that many of the shifts will be internal.
Sarah's Role, as the Coach: Listens fully with compassion and without judgment. She's there as a sounding board,
a mirror, or a shoulder to cry on. Asks
important questions to help you find the answers that lie within.
Encourages
you to do your best, stretching to your full potential. Sarah
is your cheerleader as you try new things and pursue your passions. Challenges you to "go for it." Her requests may lead you outside your comfort zone, but taking action
is always your choice. Shares
strategies and advice from her own life and coaching experience.
Honesty is one of Sarah's core values, so you can expect her to be straightforward, constructive, and confidential at all
times.

"People get caught up in
their patterns; we are trained to focus on, and complain about, what isn't working. Society is not set up for regular
time out to ask ourselves: 'Am I going for what I really want? And am I going about it in the smartest way possible?'
Coaching provides a structure to take time out of our busy lives... to increase the chances that we're heading where we'll
be happiest, and that we're taking the easiest and most fun path." - David Wood, Personal & Business Coach, Solution
